Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-16

These terms apply when you use spruceshot.com ("Spruceshot", "we", "us"), which is run by App Business Ventures LLC. By placing an order you agree to them.

What we sell

AI headshots. You upload selfies; our AI makes professional-looking portrait photos of you in the looks you choose, and you download them from your order page. Our headshots are created with artificial intelligence (AI). They are AI-generated pictures based on your selfies, not photographs taken of you, and they can differ from you in small details. Each set is made for you, so results vary: two orders with the same photos come out differently. Please look at your headshots before you use them.

Your photos

• You must be at least 18 years old to order, and the photos must show an adult.
• Only upload photos of yourself, or of an adult who asked you to order for them. You confirm you have the right to use the photos and that they don't break anyone's rights or the law.
• We refuse orders with nude or sexual photos, photos of children, or photos of someone who hasn't agreed. If we refuse an order after payment, we refund it.
• Don't use Spruceshot to make pictures that pretend to be someone else, to deceive anyone, or for anything illegal.
• You keep any rights you have in your photos. You let us use them only to make, check and deliver your order. We delete them as our privacy policy says.

What you get

When you've paid, you may use your headshots for personal and work purposes: profiles (for example LinkedIn), CVs, your company's website and materials, press, speaker bios, email signatures and video calls. You may not sell or license the headshots themselves to others. We don't claim that AI-made pictures can be registered for copyright.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown before you pay and are one-time payments, with no subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Promo codes can't be combined unless stated.

Delivery

Your headshots are delivered on your order page and announced by email, usually within about 15 minutes of payment. If something goes wrong on our side and we can't deliver, we refund you in full. Keep the link to your order page: anyone with it can open your order. Your headshots stay available to download for 30 days, then they're deleted, so download the ones you want to keep.

Redo and refunds

If your headshots don't look like you, you can ask for one free new set on your order page within 7 days of delivery. See our refund policy for the rest.

Limits

We provide the service "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in force when you ordered applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Questions: support@spruceshot.com.
