Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-16

This policy explains what Spruceshot (App Business Ventures LLC) collects when you use spruceshot.com, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Your selfies and the choices in the order form (looks, outfits, glasses, head covering).
• Face measurements: to check your photos and to make sure every headshot looks like you, our software measures the face in each selfie and each headshot (a list of numbers describing the face). The measurements exist only in memory while your order is being made. We never store them, never use them to identify you, and never share them.
• Contact details: your email address, so we can send your order, receipts and support replies. We don't send newsletters.
• Payment: Stripe processes your payment. We receive the amount, the last 4 digits of the card and the country, never the full card number.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the page that sent you to us (including ad campaign tags), used to prevent fraud and abuse and to measure which ads work.

How we use it

Only to make, check and deliver your headshots, to support you, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to measure our own marketing. We never use your selfies or headshots to train AI models, never show them as examples and never sell them. The people shown on our website are AI-generated, not customers.

Who processes it

• Our own servers and storage, in the United States. Your files are private and only reachable through links that expire.
• To make your headshots, three of your selfies and a written description of the look go to Runware, our AI provider. Runware doesn't use them to train AI models; its terms allow it to keep limited request data to run its service.
• Stripe (payments) and Amazon Web Services (email delivery).

We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

• Selfies are deleted 7 days after you upload them, whether or not you order, or straight away when you tap "Delete my selfies" on your order page.
• Headshots are deleted 30 days after delivery. Orders you don't pay for are deleted after 7 days.
• Face measurements are never stored (see above).
• Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
• You can ask us to delete your order and data sooner: email support@spruceshot.com from the address you ordered with.

Cookies

We use a few first-party cookies to keep your order form, count visits and remember which ad or link brought you here (for example utm and fbclid tags). We don't use advertising cookies at the moment.

Children

Spruceshot is for adults only. Don't upload photos of children. If we find that photos show a child, we delete them and refund the order.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, California, Illinois or Texas law). Email support@spruceshot.com. We answer within 30 days.
